Are We Asleep?

‘I am what I choose to be’,
An expression taken so lightly.

Were we created for play and fun?
Boasting a sin is the thing most done.

Shame and shyness are stories of past,
Haya is something that we have lost.

Sincerity and love are known to few,
Bright colour faded, remained its hue.

Where did we loose that warmth and care?
Fake feelings replaced, leaving us bare.

Gloom and sorrow has take over us,
Still we wonder, why He doesn’t bless!

Signs have been sent, and so much said,
Are our souls sleeping or are we dead?
